Members of the National Park Service continue removing residual algae from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Officials said the algae bloom resulted from residual algae left in the system during the restart of pool operations following recent renovations, and crews have made significant progress restoring water quality.
