Christian Meyer (Alliance 90/The Greens), Minister for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection in Lower Saxony, looks after the grey seals that were released into the wild on the East Frisian island of Juist. The weakened animals had previously been reared at the Norddeich seal station (Aurich district) until they were fit enough to survive on their own in the Wadden Sea.
