Rescuers from the State Emergency Service carry out emergency operations at a nine-storey apartment block damaged by a Russian missile and drone strike in Kyiv, Ukraine, on May 14, 2026. Russia launched a massive attack on the Ukrainian capital, deploying more than 670 strike drones and 56 missiles of various types. The attack damaged 11 multi-storey residential buildings, cars, a supermarket, two car dealerships, two petrol stations, a business centre, and a service station. At least one person was killed, and 33 were injured, including a two-month-old baby.
