Decorated cows are driven through the Harz village during a parade for the 100th Tanner Cow Ball. The tradition of the Tanner Cow Ball has existed in the Harz Mountains for around 100 years. The festival around the Harz red cattle and the annual cow drive regularly attracts many visitors to the Harz village of Tanne.
