Trainees from the energy company Leag take part in a rally entitled "Billions for the South, empty promises for the East" at the Schwarze Pumpe lignite-fired power plant. The energy company Leag believes that Lusatia is at a disadvantage when it comes to new gas-fired power plants. A draft law provides for around two thirds of new power plant capacities to be directed to the so-called "grid south" in the first tendering rounds.
