Eleanor Lakelin, who creates highly textured, vessel-like wooden sculptures in a range of sizes, including monumental. Working primarily with UK-grown trees felled due to decay, she transforms each piece through a combination of turning on the lathe and hand carving. The pieces have smooth, architectural structures that are disrupted by expressive, weathered surfaces.
