The Prince of Wales, Royal Honorary Air Commodore for RAF Valley, during a visit to the airbase in Holyhead, Anglesey, as part of celebrations marking its 85th anniversary. The station at RAF Valley opened in February 1941 and Prince William spent three years stationed there whilst serving as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot between 2010 and 2013
