On April 18, a 58-year-old man opened fire on civilians, took hostages in a supermarket, and shot at police officers. Seven people were killed in the incident. The offender was eliminated. Law enforcement authorities reported suspicion against two Patrol Police Department employees in Kyiv for inaction during the terrorist attack.
