Nepali revelers celebrate Sindoor Jatra, also known as Bhuyu Sinha, as part of the Biska Jatra celebrations marking the Nepali New Year 2082 on April 15, 2026. Observed on the 2nd day of Baisakh, the festival brings devotees to the temple square where 32 ceremonial palanquins carrying local deities are assembled. Participants, covered in orange powder, take part in the procession accompanied by traditional music, singing, and dancing.
