Photographer Simon Woodley was up at 4am to capture these stunning images of Comet C/2025 R3 Pan-STARRS as it rose from the North Sea, passing through the Pegasus constellation into the dawn sky above Sunderland. He then stayed on to photograph a delicate 20% crescent moon ascending over Roker Lighthouse.
