Breeders Katja and Christoph Behling each hold a lamb in their arms in the barn of their Skuddenhof farm. The little sheep were born in February 2026 and are waiting with the flock for there to finally be enough green to eat out on the pasture. White Skudden sheep have been bred on the Skuddenhof farm in the district of Potsdam Mittelmark for 25 years. The Behling couple shear the sheep's wool by hand and give it to a company that processes it into high-quality comforters and mattress protectors, among other things.
