Breeder Katja Behling holds a lamb in her arms in the barn of her Skuddenhof farm. The little ram was born in February 2026 and is waiting with the flock for there to finally be enough green to eat out on the pasture. White Skudden sheep have been bred on the Skuddenhof farm in the district of Potsdam Mittelmark for 25 years. The Behling couple shear the sheep's wool by hand and give it to a company that processes it into high-quality comforters and mattress protectors, among other things.
