Headline: Former Railroad Viaduct To Be Used To Plant Trees In Germany
Caption:
Construction workers and gardeners use a crane to lift a bladder ash tree onto the Sellerhäuser Viaduct. The former railroad bridge, which is over 100 years old, will be planted with 50 trees by mid-April as part of the "Parkbogen Ost". Over the next few years, a green ridge will be created on around 1.5 kilometers of former railroad line in the east of Leipzig, which will be connected and networked with the residential areas and allotments.
