On the second day of the government holiday, most factories and garment industries in the capital have closed, leading to a significant increase in train passengers compared to the previous day...At the Dhaka Airport Railway Station, huge crowds were seen boarding trains bound for different destinations. With many trains packed beyond capacity, some passengers were seen climbing onto the roofs, risking their lives to secure a ride. Others ignored official restrictions and crossed barbed-wire barriers to enter the platforms in a desperate attempt to catch a train...Many of the passengers are working-class people eager to return to their hometowns to celebrate Eid with their families...Ticket shortages, overcrowding, and dangerous travel conditions appear to be overshadowed by the festive spirit, as people make every effort to return home for one of the country's most important religious celebrations
