A pink river dolphin was rescued this Tuesday morning (17) after becoming stranded in a canal on Rua Uniao, with Travessa Mauriti, in the Marco neighborhood, in Belem. The removal of the animal was carried out by a technical team from Instituto Bioma (Biology and Conservation of Aquatic Mammals of the Amazon). The specimen must undergo a biological evaluation before being returned to its natural habitat.
