Their Royal Highnesses, the Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales, visited Oriel Davies, a contemporary art gallery in Newtown, Powys, to view projects funded by the Alexandra Reinhardt Memorial Award.

The initiative, led by artist Nicky Arscott, supports the wellbeing of local children and young people through creative workshops that foster social connections, confidence, and community cohesion.

The Royals viewed an exhibition of the participants’ artwork and joined a live workshop, later practicing Welsh with a local learners group in the gallery cafe
