'One billion rising' flashmob against male violence against women takes place in Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome and in 160 other countries in the world, means to be the largest collective event against violence. The 2026 theme is ''Rise for our bodies, our future, our earth''. The ''billion'' refers to the UN statistic that one in three women will be raped or beaten in her lifetime.
