Soldiers are roped down from helicopters during the Steadfast Dart NATO maneuver at the military training area on the Baltic Sea coast. With the large-scale maneuver Steadfast Dart, NATO partners want to prepare for possible future threat situations in the Baltic Sea. The large-scale maneuver is being carried out by NATO's Allied Reaction Force (ARF), a rapid reaction force of around 40,000 soldiers that is constantly on standby.
