Julia Thielecke from the Brockenbauer breeding farm in Tanne makes contact with the 9-day-old bull calf Horst. The first offspring of the year are born among the Harz red cattle breed. A total of more than 160 calves are expected this year. From the spring, the more than 450 animals of the Brocken farmer Thielecke will once again characterize the landscape in the Upper Harz.
