BBC has issued an apology to Trump but will refuse to pay the 1 billion dollar damages claimed by Trump over the edit shown in the programme Panorama. Director General Tim Davie and BBC News CEO Deborah Turness resigned following accusations of bias and the controversy surrounding the edited speech.
