French lawyer of France s former president Nicolas Sarkozy, Jean Michel Darrois, arrives at the Sante prison. French prosecutors on November 10, 2025 requested the release from prison of former president Nicolas Sarkozy under judicial supervision pending an appeals trial over allegations that he sought Libyan funding. The Paris Appeals Court is expected to make a decision during the day that could see Sarkozy released immediately.
