In London, a far-right Unite the Kingdom rally organised by Tommy Robinson, joined by around 110,000 people, escalates into confrontations with police after some marchers attempt to force access to a counter-protest area cordoned off by officers. Met Police report that as protesters deviated from the approved route and tried to breach the separation barriers, clashes broke out involving projectiles, flares, bottles, and physical assaults on officers. Among the crowd, numerous wooden crosses were visible, Union Jack and many demonstrators carried placards referencing U.S. conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Meanwhile, a counter-protest by about 5,000 people, organised by Stand Up to Racism, was kept apart by a large police presence, with around nine arrests made.
