People affected by an evacuation wait in emergency accommodation at Messe Dresden. The day before, a World War II bomb weighing around 250 kilograms was found during demolition work on the Carola Bridge. It is fitted with a detonator and has to be defused on site. An exclusion zone of 1,000 meters was set up around the site.
