Some family members of detained migrants held a press conference in front of the ICE center at 26 Federal Plaza to highlight the ongoing detentions of migrants that are separating families. The mother of NYC high school student Dylan Lopez Contreras showed up to speak up as she was seen wearing a heart monitor due to the stress that she is under. Also there was Gwen Carr, ( seen her with his portrait) mother of murdered Eric Garner who wanted to show her support of the migrant families on the 11th anniversary of his death.
