Construction work continues Monday July 14, 2025 on the Microsofts .3 billion data center being built in the Village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, across the road from the Foxconn campus. The globe is the Foxconn data center. The first phase of the project is slated for completion in 2026. Then-President Donald J. Trump came to Wisconsin for the Foxconn groundbreaking in 2018. The project has fallen far short of expectations. Then President Joe Biden came to Wisconsin for the Microsoft announcement.
