The NATO and EU Information Center in Georgia, established in 2005 to promote Western values and support Euro-Atlantic integration, has ceased operations. Employees have received layoff notices. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the center has been dissolved and integrated into the ministry as part of a reorganization. According to its official website, the centers mission focused on strengthening civil society and engaging the public in Georgias European and Euro-Atlantic path.
