The Glastonbury Festival has unveiled a new attraction: a seaside-style pier in the Glastonbury-on-Sea area. Designed by artist Joe Rush and inspired by 1950s coastal piers, the structure stretches approximately 60 meters and is open daily from early morning until late at night. Festivalgoers can stroll along its promenade, taking in quirky attractions such as robot bands, Punch and Judy performances, tarot card readings, and vintage arcade games—all set against the backdrop of festival tents and the nearby Park Stage. This creative installation celebrates classic British seaside culture with a signature Glastonbury twist, serving as a laid-back social spot and vibrant entertainment hub. The pier also includes designated quieter times to promote a more inclusive experience for all attendees.
