Newcastle welcome historic Norwegian warship S/S Hestmanden from Norway to mark the 80-year anniversary of VE Day. S/S Hestmanden is the only surviving vessel from the wartime convoys of the First and Second World War. The ship will open to visitors from Sunday and during the rest of its stay which lasts until Wednesday. The salute was by Tug Boat Svitzer Jubilee with Pilot Boat Hadrian also in attendance.
