Mimi Marchand, entrepreneur of the celebrity press, is being tried by the Paris Criminal Court on May 26, 2025 on suspicion of blackmailing TV host Karine Le Marchand, over photos of Le Marchand's daughter leaving police custody, as well as policemen suspected of having given information to a photographer about the 2020 forthcoming arrest of Russian artist Piotr Pavlenski.
