Khelafat Majlis mass procession towards the Indian Embassy demanding the repeal of the controversial Waqf Bill passed by the Indian Parliament and an end to the killing of Muslims.

The procession started at 2:23 pm on Wednesday (April 23) from the northern foothills of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. In a leaflet distributed calling for the mass procession, the Khelafat Majlis said that about 250 million Muslims live in our neighboring country India.

Muslims have been deprived of their rights in India since the partition of the country in 1947. This madness of persecution and oppression against Muslims has gradually spread throughout India with state sponsorship. This persecution has increased to a great extent under the Hindu extremist BJP government.

The statement called on the countrymen, scholars, Tawheed Janata and all citizens inspired by Islamic consciousness to actively participate in Wednesday's program and strengthen the protest
