Two artists from the New York-based design and architecture company StudioKCA, Lesley Chang and Jason Klimoski worked together with the Hawaii Wildlife Fund and built an 11m (36ft) tall blue whale sculpture from the collected plastic waste on the beaches of Hawaii.

It is a reminder of millions of tonnes of plastic waste swimming at the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans
