A SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule is seen being carried on a recovery ship named Megan on March 22, 2025, as it is brought into Port Canaveral, Florida. The capsule splashed down off the coast of Florida with NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov onboard on March 18, 2025. Williams and Wilmore returned to Earth with a SpaceX capsule as their planned short stay in space stretched into more than nine months. This marks the end of SpaceX's efforts to recover Dragon capsules on the East Coast, as they have moved the operations to the West Coast to prevent space debris from reentering on land.
