Demonstrators with the activist group Rise & Resist stage a non-violent protest resulting in staff closing the store. NYPD arrived setting up barricades surrounding the store and eventually forcing protesters off the sidewalk stating the area in front of the showroom was a ''frozen zone.'' Protesters call for people to Boycott Tesla and denounce E. Musk. The demonstration joins Tesla Takedown protests happening across the country denouncing DOGE, oligarchy, mass firings, and cuts to social services.
