Protesters hold signs that read 'THIS BILLIONAIRE STOLE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER' STOP MUSKS COUP! DONT LET BILLIONAIRES BUY OUR USA 'THIS BILLIONAIRE IS KILLING OUR GOVERNMENT' 'THIS BILLIONAIRE IS STEALING FROM YOU' 'THIS BILLIONAIRE IS DESTROYING OUR USA' with an image of Musk making a fascist salute 'STOP MUSK'S CRIME SPREE' 'OVERTHROW the OLIGARCHS' with images of Bezos, Zuckerberg, President Trump & Musk 'BOYCOTT TESLA' outside the Tesla Showroom in Manhattans Meatpacking District. Demonstrators with the activist group Rise & Resist stage a non-violent protest resulting in staff briefly closing the store. NYPD arrived and set up barricades surrounding the store and eventually forced protesters off the sidewalk stating the area in front of the showroom was a ''frozen zone.'' Protesters call for people to Boycott Tesla and denounce E. Musk. The demonstration joins Tesla Takedown protests happening across the country denouncing DOGE, oligarchy, mass firings, and cuts to social services.
