After NYPD annouces to a dozen protesters holding signs outside the Tesla Showroom in Manhattans Meatpacking District that the area in front of the store is a ''frozen zone'' and they may not stage a peaceful protest there, demonstrators carry their signs while walking in the crosswalks. Signs read 'DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION' 'BOYCOT TESLA' 'THIS BILLIONAIRE IS STEALING FROM YOU' 'NAZI' with an image of Musk making a fascist salute. Members of the activist group Rise & Resist hold a non-violent protest at Tesla resulting in staff briefly closing the store. NYPD arrived and set up barricades surrounding the store and eventually forced protesters off the sidewalk. Protesters call for people to Boycott Tesla and denounce E. Musk. The demonstration joins Tesla Takedown protests happening across the country denouncing DOGE, oligarchy, mass firings, and cuts to social services.
