The exterior of the elaborately carved exterior of the University offices is left covered with paint and the word ‘Divest’ is scrawled on the building after being targeted by pro-Palestinian activists. Overnight Palestine Action students target Cambridge University's Grade I listed Endowment Fund Offices. The group demand that Cambridge University divest from companies that fund arms manufacturers, operating to devastating effect in Palestine. They also insist that the divestment should include companies that are benefitting from the plight of the Palestine people. This action comes a few days after the High Court in London refused to grant The University an injunction, preventing pro-Palestinian protests in and around their campus
