Working from a Google Street View photo, artist Asher Bingham begins work on a sketch of an Altadena home that was destroyed in the Eaton fire. Though she generally works from home, Ms. Bingham is today particpating in a 'We Love LA' event at the Westfield Century City Mall sponsored by FIGS, a medical uniforms and apparel company based in Santa Monica. Ms. Bingham began her sketching of burned homes with one sketch of a home lost by a friend. Word soon spread of her effort to provide a remembrance for fire victims, and she now has a stable of 14 other volunteer artists from around the country making sketches to send to the people who've requested one on her Instagram page. To this date, she has completed and mailed out some three dozen sketches, and is currently working through a backlog of some 600+ requests.
