Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost Mission 1 is launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from NASA's Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida in the early morning hours of January 15, 2025. Texas-based Firefly Aerospace successfully launched its first lunar mission for NASA, targeted to land in Mare Crisium to deliver 10 science and technology instruments to help pave the way for humanity's return to the Moon.
