A dog bound for Seattle Humane is unloaded from an emergency rescue flight from the Hollywood Burbank Airport loaded with pets gathered from shelters around Los Angeles at Boeing Field in Seattle on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Paws for Life K9 Rescue and international pet air-transport operation Wings of Rescue organized the flight evacuating approximately 80 dogs and cats to make space and resources available for animals displaced by recent Southern California wildfires.
