The Prince of Wales, co-patron of the Jewel of Arabia Expedition, during the London launch of the expedition at The Royal Geographical Society, London. The Expedition - which is inspired by a route taken by British explorer Bertram Thomas in 1928 along the southeast coast of Oman - aims to raise awareness amongst young people both in and outside of Oman of the value of the country's natural heritage and biodiversity as well as environmental challenges.
