A snow plow drives across the Bundesstraße 317 near Feldberg in a dense snowstorm. According to the German Weather Service, further snowfall will mainly affect the higher regions of the country. Heavy snowfall of between 15 and 25 centimetres is expected on the High Rhine and in the Allgäu, and up to 30 centimetres of fresh snow in congested areas of the southern Black Forest - an official storm warning is therefore in force here. Widespread slippery roads are expected, in the north locally due to freezing.
