Winter has made its presence felt in Saxony with snowfall in the low mountain ranges and slippery roads. According to the German Weather Service, up to five centimetres of fresh snow fell above 600 meters in the morning. During the night, snow is forecast to fall again in the mountains above 700 to 800 meters, which will later change to rain.
