Devotees hold candles and pray as they walk next to the Vierge a l'Enfant (Virgin and Child), a 14th-century statue, toward the Notre-Dame Cathedral. The procession begins with a torchlit march from Saint-Germain-l Auxerrois Church to the cathedral s square, in anticipation of Notre-Dame s reopening on December 7, 2024.
