The Stage of Freedom group, led by women, holds a silent performance in solidarity with Ahoo Daryaei who was detained in Tehran after walking on campus at Islamic Azad University in her underwear protesting Iran strict hijab laws. Inspired by the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, participants gather at Parliament Square dressed in costumes reminiscent of The Handmaid Tale to highlight the oppression of women in Iran. The event features a symbolic walk, with one participant dressed as Daryaei, proceeding from Parliament Square to Trafalgar Square. Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have called for Daryaei immediate release, drawing global attention to her cause.
