Protesters protest outside the offices of Allianz Insurance company with signs and a banner reading ‘ Insure Our Survival’. Extinction Rebellion (XR) walk around the City of London and stop and demonstrate outside the offices of insurance companies that are continuing to insure fossil fuel companies despite the warnings of a climate crisis from scientists. The protesters believe if the insurance companies stopped their involvement with these companies they would struggle to continue to mine. The action is the first of a week long protest directed specifically at the insurance industry
