Workers carry huge quantities of jute in three-wheeled auto-rickshaws from Guthail jute market to factories in Jamalpur district of Bangladesh. Then various products are made from jute through the process. Jute is a very eco-friendly crop. Bags, sarees, shoes, sandals, bed sheets, curtains, sofa covers, carpets and many other products are made of jute. At present, the process of making eco-friendly polythene bags from jute is going on in Bangladesh.
