Protesters from Extinction Rebellion dressed in hazmat suits with theatrical props demonstrate outside the offices of Anglian Water. They are protesting about the water companys record on dumping raw sewage into seas and rivers in their region. In 2023 Cambridge Water Treatment Plant had 74 spills lasting over 1476 hours. They argue that the cost of preventing this is less than the £78 billion paid out to shareholders.
