For the second day running activists from Palestine Action block both vehicular accesses to the drone engine factory in Shenstone. They demand that UAV Engines stop producing parts for drones that are being used against the Palestinian people in Gaza and elsewhere. Israeli bombing in Gaza has killed over 35,000 Palestinians since October 2023. The pro-Palestinian group are determined to relentlessly target Elbit Systems and their partner companies by repeat protests and direct action so as to make business for them in the UK unviable. Over the last few years they have succeeded in closing three of the ten businesses that Elbit Systems have in the UK.
