The UK Government is honouring the Ukrainian athletes whose lives have been lost due to Russia's full-scale invasion through a display that at Parliament Square. The 3D display, installed by the UK Government, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Sports Committee of Ukraine, brings to life the 487 figure which is the approximate figure of the number of Ukrainian athletes that have been killed in the war (as at the start of July). Surrounding the display are seen sporting equipment representing the disciplines of some of the 487 fallen athletes.
