Students protest at the entrance to the Hebrew University and march to the Prime Minister's Office demanding an immediate hostage release deal. Israel has been engaged in a war with Hamas following massive rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israel on 7th October, 2023, infiltration of Palestinian gunmen into Israeli territory, massacre of 1,400 civilian women and children in their homes and hostage taking of some 240 civilians, including babies and children, and soldiers. 120 remain in captivity. Many blame the PM personally for sabotaging any chance of a hostage release deal for political and personal gain.
